Brian Bernhard is an Aerospace Systems Engineer with 45 years of experience contributing to complex projects across military, commercial, experimental, space, and hypersonic vehicles. Specialized expertise in the development of avionics architectures, flight controls, engine controls, power distribution, grounding/shielding aircraft modification/integration, flight test, and SIL/simulation architectures, systems and software. Served as lead engineer and technical manager on numerous programs, directing engineering teams. Familiar with aerodynamics, the design of aircraft structures using composites and metals. Expert at rapid prototyping and fabrication of avionics, wiring, electronics, electro-mechanical and propulsion components. Considerable experience with the development of cockpit/control-room displays and telemetry systems.
